Ariana Damavandi (she/they) is a writer and community organizer, originally from Southern California, but who now resides in the East Bay. A graduate in Sociology from UCLA, Ariana can now be found attending radical reading groups, doing outreach in her community, or toiling away in the garden. An artist and revolutionary at heart, they believe in the transformative power of storytelling as a means of challenging hegemonic epistemological foundations that disallow so many of us from accessing truth, care, and understanding. She will be assisting with writing projects, research, and assisting with the Center's new forthcoming podcast, "Del-beh-Del: Conversations with the Iraian Diaspora."
